Some time again in May 2018, John from Kentucky USA, purchased a road version of the Unipower GT from the estate of the late Dennis Tarkir to complement the other well known customer Competition version that his wife Kelly has been successfully racing for a few years now.

Dennis had owned the car for 47-years !!, covering over 40,000 miles during this time before corrosion in the lower chassis rails brought about some restoration. However illness interrupted the final rebuild at which point John purchased the car, with some missing parts.
Following the success of Kelly's racing and that she won't let John race the car :), he decided to embark on the necessary modifications to make his new acquisition race ready. Progress is being made initially with body and safety upgrades, as you will see in the attached photos (Copyright John W).
Much still to do and we are super excited to be following John's progress and upgrades with interest in future Blog reports.
