UPDATE -  The car has just undergone sufficient reassembly to better understand the remaining work required to complete. The following pictures show its current condition, leaving any purchaser to carry out the remaining work required.

A rare opportunity has arisen on the sale of this U.W.F. Automotive produced, RHD production Road version of one of the very last Unipower GT cars. Delivered to its first lady owner in Scotland towards the end of 1969 and originally painted White, the car was fitted with a 1275cc Cooper 'S' engine/transmission, Mk2 Dunlop Alloy wheels, Heater/Demister unit and the all important factory fitted Webasto sunroof. Somewhat unique for a car of this age, is that it has had only two owners since 1969 and has been in the current ownership since 1975. The mileage cannot be verified, but is thought to be less than 20,000 miles.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, the car has now been unused for something over 30-years, it being stored all these years in the UK and so is a very rare opportunity to purchase a unique example of the marque. As one of the very last cars produced, the car benefits from the later external and internal door mechanisms and also the upgraded shock absorber/spring design together with mounting points. It will be seen from the photographs taken recently, that the current owner has during his early ownership customised the dashboard with a plethora of additional instruments and the addition of two speakers. Behind the seats, a Mini heater unit has been installed along with some additional switchgear and warning lights in the engine bulkhead. All this is very easy to correct and bring back to factory correct.

The car has been very recently resprayed in its original White to a very high standard. This includes the doors, bonnet and the windscreen surround, which in particular is in exceptionally good condition, so is unlikely to be the original fitted to the car. The engine was totally rebuilt approximately 3-years ago and has reputedly only been started once since then but turns over well. The suspension and braking systems have apparently been subject to a professional rebuild by a local garage.

Inspection of the car and the remaining dismantled parts shows that nearly 99% of the parts necessary to rebuild the car are present, with the notable exception of the rear Boot. However the Owners Club can obtain any parts missing or have them made from original moulds/jigs. The interior trim will need re-trimming, but all the parts are there as patterns and again the Owners Club can source the correct material/patterns..

The car currently has a UK DVLA Registration Document issued back in 1975, so may require the issue of the latest DVLA V5C document.

Any prospective purchaser will have to satisfy themselves of the general condition of car and all of its parts, despite the aforementioned works that have been carried out, as given the condition of sale, it is not possible to verify or guarantee the integrity of any part or the whole.
