Sunday morning Group E heat race at the VSCDA's Spring Brake event at Gingerman Raceway in the USA, located near South Haven in southwest Michigan. Built in 1995, the track is 2.14 miles long.
This was also the first time she had used an on-board camera in 'Tweety', as Kelly has nicknamed her 1968 Unipower GT for which she would like to thanks Bill Stevens, for awarding her a Road Keeper HD camera at last Fall's Put-In-Bay event!. However after the race, she felt that she need to find a better location for the camera as one of the lower windcreen safety retaining 'tabs' was obsecuring the picture. There is no sound on the following on-board video her Unipower GT of the race, as she had turned off the mic, figuring no one wants to hear me self-coaching or the occasional unkind words for a jackass move !. https://youtu.be/HpNaRg8Z7v0 .
Kelly finished a creditable 5th from a grid place of 8th.
Congratulations to Kelly and her family and watch out for more on Kelly's racing this year as an when.
