Built to the USA regulations in November 1967 it was shipped to the then American importer in New York. Fitted as new with a 1275cc Cooper 'S' engine/transmission and a unique White with two Blue Stripes applied by the factory. As a 1275 variant, the dshboard is padded with black vinyl with of course the gearlever located on the left hand door sill. Brakes were also upgraded to Cooper 'S' discs on these variants.
