Chassis 367.P1 1966 Prototype RHD
Built in 1965, this is the original Prototype chassis that was used from which all subsequent Unipower GT's originated, albeit with some minor bodywork changes. This chassis launched the Unipower GT at the 1966 Racing Car Show and whilst it was originally painted White, for the Show it was repainted Quartz Blue. The chassis was used to carry out other pre-production developments, before eventually being road registered in 1967 and sold. Changing ownership 8-times over the years, its current and 9th owner found the car in very poor condition and embarked on a major restoration, later to be told of its true provenance which changed his direction and is now well advanced in returning the car to its original specification, as was seen at the Club's 2019 Classic Car Show stand. at the NEC Birmingham.
